After conducting some quick research I suggest an Alienware PC over a Dell XPS, as the Alienware machines are fractionally cheaper and as always have excellent build quality. Alienware is also now owned by Dell.

I would also suggest spending the most on the computers graphics card as this is the single most important component for gaming.
