man, i totally remember those dial up days with starcraft. where they actually cared about lag so much that they would show little bars next to your name to indicate whether or not you had a strong connection. that crinkly sound...when you're connecting on your 56k! takes me back!

are we sure that starcraft 2 is gonna come out this year? i heard blizzard is more focused on the Warcraft III patch 1.22. it's supposed change the game quite a bit.
