Amiga games you want to complete...some day
Since I bought my first Amiga back in 1987 I have played numerous Amiga games. Some of them were pretty bad while some of them were quite good.
A number of games were so excellent that I really wanted to complete them.
During the years I have managed to play through some of them - but there are still some special Amiga games I aim to finish some day.
A question to the Amiga game players out there - what are the Amiga games you still play or plan to play - and maybe some day - hope to complete?
To kick off the discussion here are some games on my "to complete" list:
"James Pond - Underwater Agent" from Millennium. This is the platform game for me. I've been playing this game on regular basis since it was released. It is one of those games that reward the persistent player - it seems first impossible to complete but with hard work it is possible to progress through the (12) levels. I am on level nine now and the game is giving me hard time, but some day...
"Cannon Fodder" from Sensible Software. Another game which oozes quality and becomes mind-bogglingly difficult in later levels. I have been stuck on level 14 for some years now but no, I am not giving up on this.
This game deserves to be completed.
"SWIV" - the ultimate blaster imho. One huge level to complete. During my best tries I have made it to this lava world and hopefully some day I'll make it to the end. Best enjoyed with the audio cranked up to full volume - the sound FX this game has still impress me after all these years.
"Turrican 3" - the original and the sequel are masterpieces on their own so I hope to have time to look into this third installment of the series sometime soon.
"Laser Squad" - "UFO - Enemy Unknown" (also known as "X-COM") is one of my all time Amiga favourites and since this game is from same developers I plan to play it properly some day.
But enough of my babbling - the floor is yours
