I've only played a little of the Tony Hawk games, and I've never bothered to own one. I was always playing snowboarding games instead, such as SSX. However, I think that the introduction of EA Skate sounds welcome enough to have me getting more interested in skateboarding games. If I had a PS3 or an XBox360, I'd get a copy of EA Skate. I haven't heard good things about the later Tony Hawk releases.
