I don't understand what you mean by 'Rogue-likes FTW'??

But heres my opinion:

1) The most useless item I've encountered in a game:

I can't really think of one but it would probably have to be....Female fighters, why is it all the females are terrible at attacking but good at magic yet the males are good at attacking an EVENTUALLY reach the same standard as the females with regards to magic! it just annoys me, as ill never use the characters as there useless!

2) Worst/Most annoying status effect:

I hated Berserk Status in the final fantasy games as it would be a mixture of poison, blind, confused and health would kill them? as if they were undead. When the whole party become under Berserk it was a nightmare because they were confused so you couldn't control them and they eventually started killing each other.
The only way to get around it was to have armour etc which was immune to those attacks.
