chopstickles is on a distinguished road

I could probably run the game pretty well on my computer just not with the graphics on full. On Trainz 2004 I was able to run it on full settings (minus anti aliasing) with quite a high frame rate. It was only the placeable hungry / massive maps that slowed me down to a somewhat low 10 or so fps, sometimes down to less than 5.

None of my friends have a copy of Trainz 2006 so I haven't seen it in person, only in screenshots so it's kind of hard to judge it from that. Previously though I was really keen on getting it but my mind was changed by the numerous topics on their forums about all the problems they were having with it. I didn't really want to go and pay that much for a game just to find out there are quite a lot of problems associated with it. Although from what I hear it is somewhat better now.

Maybe I might just go and get it after all unless another game is released and becomes a deterrent.
