Well, I still remember when playing the original game long ago. I never finish RE I & II but I have played Nemesis numerous time. Honestly, I'm still chickened to play the original Resident Evil... I never able to pass the first level, and beating that giant snake.

Anyone experiencing situation like me? Is RE still scary enough to scare you out?

I've played some stages of it and it was very scary to be frank. So i think they should mention in their covers " not for faint-hearted". :P

I have played through abotu half of RE4, and since I love it so much I decided to pick up the original for gamecube. It certainly is creepy, but I dont find it all that terrifying. If you ask me games like F.E.A.R. are still scarier! If you want a real fright try Penumbra: Overture. I can barely play that game its so scary!

When I first time play this game yeah.. I can say a bit scary but when evryday you play and kill the enemies there is no scaries anymore. Its comes to be more fun. hehe..

RE4 wasn't as scary... but the others freaked me out.

I watched a trailer of that, and it didn't seem scary. Cool, just not frightening.

I wasn't able to play Resident Evil games as a kid because I was too scared of them. But I used to watch my cousin play them. I don't know if they'd be frightening now that I'm older.

These games don't scare me anymore there more or less sort of a joke when you see those zombies going towards you and then you can just mo them down with a gun.
