The whole point of a horror games is to include a bit of fright. So for the people who say there boring as there too scary your missing the point of the game genre!

horror games stimulates our fibers ,make you feel exacted ,and that it why we play games ,to experience some hyper emotion which is hard to find in life .
but when you look back at those game time you will just find you have been fooled

I've only played Half Life 2 and Resident Evil out of those games.

There were a few jumpy bits in Half Life 2 but that's not what the game is about, it has everything!

Resident Evil is pretty scary, good fun to play with friends or alone in the dark!

I've wanted to buy Doom for quite some time, what is the latest Doom game and when's the next due?

Has anyone here heard of Fatal Frame? That is by far one of the scariest games I've played...actually, I couldn't even get myself to finish. It was just too disturbing. But I do enjoy all the Resident Evil titles and I wish they remade Parasite Eve or made sequels on that series.

Resident Evil Nemesis..scared the CRAP out of me..i tried to face him early with a shotgun..[-__-]..lets just say..it didnt end well for me..lol..and the game hexen on N64 used to scare me for some reason too..great game though despite the old school graphics they gave it a sort of charm that i fell for lol

Yea i like horror games, but not mystery horror games. I like mostly FPS games with creepy atmosphere and killing undead or similar.FEAR for example gave me some goosebumps at moments
