Yep, I think its more realistic. It all helps you to emerse yourself into the game just that little bit more.

3rd person rules because you can actually see you enviroment and yourself nonetheless and it is better for you and you enjoyment

As for war games, I prefer first person as it feels like you're more IN the game. But third person is good for games which isn't just shooting like GTA4. However, Battlefield have done it well (adding vehicles and such).

Depends on the game...for example Gears of War and Mass Effect were awesome 3rd person games....but games like Crysis,Halo etc are awesome FPS games...so it depends on the game,but generally i dun have any prejudice to any of em

I would have to say 3rd especially after playing Gears 2. But it also depends on the platform. I generally like my first person shooters on the PC. But please leave the 3rd person on the console. Especially after Gears on the PC.
