Default PlayStation 3 likely missed sales target

Looks like they waited too long to come up with the PlayStation 3. Nintendo Wii has taken some of Sony's market.

Nintendo Wii is more of a family console I think... I would go for Playstation 3 for some hard gaming but Nintendo Wii for just some fun. They both sound great!

Less than half a million PS3 consoles were sold in Japan? That's very suprising as I heard that Sony takes up around 90% of Japans gaming market. Atleast it's doing better than the Xbox 360.

I suppose, Xbox 360 didn't generate much traffic at all! All they did was enhanced the graphics, couldn't thedy at least make it player interactive?

Hasn't Sony sold all of their PS3's (that have been produced) though? I was under the impression they sold out everywhere. Though, I thought the Wii did too but thought they had bigger shipments so of course they would be ahead.

^ I thought that was the case too.

The Wii is incredibly fun to play. Nintendo has just proved that graphics aren't everything, something that I think Sony has focused too much on. The asking price for a PS3 here in Australia is over $1000 - I'll probably give it a miss this time.

Yeah, I'm really glad Nintendo found their own way to keep up with Sony and Microsoft. Their idea is great, and so creative. I used to be all about the graphics and if they weren't that impressive, I wouldn't buy the console. But with the Wii, I'd buy it just for the way it runs.
