I think we can take PC'S as a gaming console.

I bet if i walked into any licensed game store right now i'd be able to pick up a P.C game.

Verrry interesting question.
I think it is!
In my opinion.
I use a PC even now more than ever, provided that the current PS2 is broken and I won't be able to afford a new console for awhile.
I think it mostly depends on the person, too.
Like...what if you mostly use your computer for gaming, versus the normal person that uses a PC for other things?
If your gaming on a PC is more than anything else you do on it, I would safely call it a console, then.
PC may not be a specific console, but as long as games are being released for it specifically, I call it as I see it.

no PC is not a game console, it can be a gaming platform but it's primary us is not gaming. although the lines between console and PC are fading there still are lines. yes console are beginning to have more and more capabilities but there primary us is for gaming no one buys a PS3 to surf the web. as for PCs there uses vary widely and only a small number are purchased primarily for games.

What crack pipe are you smoking? They have the same parts.. there's no difference.. The PS3 and XBOX are nothing more then glorified computers.

CPU, Graphics Card, motherboad, etc.. They are literally a computer running an OS that is premade for the console's purpose.. The only difference between the two is that I can play PS3, XBOX, and any other games on my PC lol
