personally i think that the metroid prime series would make a good movie

Actually, Grand Theft Auto becoming a movie was a premature rumor.

I doubt that many games could pull off a movie, but it would be funny to see them try. However, several games have been turned into cartoon series.

Umm... I think Halo would make a nice movie. I believe the movie is in the planning for 2009.

That rumor was started in 2004, they started making the movie but they didn't have enough supporters and they couldn't fund the movie. From then on they tried to make it look like it was just a rumor so people don't think like Hollywood is losing money.

In my opinion, GTA would be a pretty awesome movie. Just take GTA 3's storyline and get some good actors, put the financial problems aside until the movie releases and bam, you got a hit.

I have said this before and I will say it again but I think that they need to turn the Half life series into movies. I would go and see every one of then and I am sure a lot of people feel the same as I do. they would just have to make sure to do it right.

i think battelfield bad company would be a great movie, the singleplayer story line mode is pretty sweet and funny, if it was a movie id lol

I think the Darkness would be interesting. I've heard they are making a Metroid movie, but thats probably a load of BS

Okay, OR: Favorite movie(s) made into video games?

I for one am super excited about the upcoming Ghostbusters game. As a big fan of both the movies and the '97 cartoon "The Real Ghostbusters" (there was actually another one called just "The Ghostbusters", blegh), I am pumped for a game based off the movies. I read a preview at Gameabyss (just search Ghostbusters) which details a lot of the specifics about the game. While I sorta wish it followed the plots of the movies more (come on, how awesome would it be to have a showdown with Gozar the Gozarian?!), I'll take what I can get. ESPECIALLY if Slimer is involved, hehehe.
