Hi Liting! I'm new too! Regarding my views on online games, I think that they are a great way to stay connected with friends and meet many new people. Meeting people in a game is itself is already finding people with similar interests with you and this can make connecting with people very easy.

I used to play online games with my friends, but now that we stopped, we no longer have much to talk about anymore.

I got to say, I agree with Corlist, online gaming is a great way to meet new people, to meet people who are interested in the same thing as yourself, I've made a good few friends over playing online games, and meeting them through that. They're a good way to connect people from all walks of life, from all over the globe. And there fun.
