Massively multiplayer online games (MMOGs) are growing in popularity, with the market in the West now worth more than $1bn (£511m). But which are the most popular? These are the five MMOGs with the highest number of subscribers worldwide, according to MMOGchart.com.

I'm not a big online gamer, more of a console gamer. But this is good news for all the online gamers out there. It's expanding rapidly. Good news for gamers

I too am more of a console gamer, though there is online play for consoles at least i can put the controller down and walk away if i've been on for too long, some people get addicted and its worrying how many years they will waste to these games
