This may belong in the PC section but wasn't sure which area to post it in. I know what DirectX is but how the heck do I know which one a game is using? PC games are what I mostly play these days but no clue about the who/what or hows of the DirectX. what do you think friend?..

Just get the latest version of DirectX on Microsoft's website and you should be fine.

Or once you click on the game and if it uses the DirectX it will give you the option to download, just download form there...I may be wrong but it is just another plugin in plain english

Yeah, You might find a some good free online games here at Allfun.com. I found it very entertaining and consists of good graphics and many fun challenges.

DX comes with most games and will install alongside the main game its hard to explain what DX is but DX 10 coms with vista most games run on DX 9 or 10
