What is the Easiest and Best Way to Create...

...Reasonable Quality 2d Games for Mac OS X? I would like the capability to save to INI or a similiar file, and would also like to be able to create these games fairly easily, similiar to Game Maker for Windows. (http://gamemaker.nl)Thanks!P.S. Also, if the software is free that would be great. But I do not really want anything over $60. Please do not recommend ColdStone.
