Has anyone of this forum experienced the red ring of death? I haven't yet, and will hopefully never. I'm going to be POed is I buy Halo 3 and those lights show up. Thinking about it makes me wet my bed about it. :P

yea ive gotten the red rings death 2 times so far but hopefully i can gain some knowledge on how to stop this from happening for the 3rd time

yeah, my friend Just bought a brand new one and first thing, turned it on put the game in and the ring show up and Shuts down completely i felt so bad...

You should be able to send it in if something happens, Check your warranty at the microsoft xbox site.

hells no dont buy a cooler!!!! they mess up your 360. if you play with out it after having it your 360 will crash for no reason. just keep it in a well ventilated space and it will be fine, as for the ring of death i have got it 2x already but some of the cords just came loose in the back and i shook them and restarted and it was fine! lol that doesn't happen often though.

I got it when the power went out, but I dont hink it had to do with cooling... It was kinda a weird little power flicker...

ive gotten teh damn rings 4 times and now xbox 360 games wont work

got to love microsoft for rushing it out before working out the design flaws. it's a great system but so flawed if they just took a little more time with it it never would have had so many problems. i think it's failure rate is around 30%. i haven't had to many problems with mine just a few random crashes. but i play PS3 alot more. also i agree coolers are a stupid waste of money.
