Default "skate." concept for snowboarding

So we all know that skate.'s control scheme and huge free-roam map has taught us to enjoi skateboarding games in a whole new way, and im fairly sure that most of us were willing to learn. But personally, i like snowboarding more than skateboarding. And because of this, i would really like to see a snowboarding game modeled after skate.
I was just curious as to what other people's opinions are about this matter. And if anyone agrees with me, perhaps we could discuss how to get the ball rolling. Or maybe theres already one out there in concept or development. Whatever the case, i think it ultimately needs to happen.

I think this is a good idea. I would very much like to see this control scheme moved over to snowboarding, as I really dislike the controler scheme they use in amped...I also dislike the over the top moves and whatnot...we need a bit more down to earch snowboarding game.

I agree. I also like snowboarding more and I would love to see a model of "Skate" adopted to a snowboarding game in the future.

I find it unlikely that a similar engine will be used on a snowboarding game, as snowboarding games are always downhill racing games, and a realistic physics engine might defeat the racing factor. It's fun to do tricks and rank up points, but I figure that you'd be falling down a lot more with this kind of engine, and thus it wouldn't make sense to use it in a game that's focused on winning races.
