does anyone like the game skate because some of my friend said they only played it for 1 day and never played it again and they also said it is really hard

A Locust With No Head Is A Good Locust

I rented it for about a week, the controls are really intuitive although the game seems a little dull after playing it for a while, the story might have helped it out of some boring parts although games like these rarely have solid story lines.

It's supposed to be better than the Tony Hawk Pro Skater series, with innovative controls that are based on a realistic physics engine. This means that you no longer simply mash buttons to get the tricks you want, but instead have to focus on physics in order to be successful. While this approach is more difficult to learn and master, it offers the player new ways to perform tricks. The graphics also look much better.

I'd get it myself, but I don't own a PS3 or an XBox360.

I want it. I may rent it first. I've been playing the Tony Hawk series for years. I've played ever TH game, up until American Wasteland; then I stopped playing them for some reason. But my friend bought Skate, and said it was much better than the Tony Hawk games.
