XBL is not singled out to Xbox or Xbox 360. An XBL card should work no matter if it says Xbox or 360. Pretty sure that is how it works otherwise Microsoft would lose alot of people due to that. If I am wrong, someone correct me please .

Yeah your right, I looked it up and not only does the XBL card work on both xbox and xbox 360 both accounts will work on either. e.g. your gamertag
