Xbox 360: One of the best consoles. It has great games and great graphics , great online gameplay too. But the question is are you satisfied with the gaming experience . Please reply. WELL people complain about the rrod and also think that wii has good gaming experience cuz of the motion censor. Hey and i by mistake posted a thread on psp gaming forum about ps3 vs wii vs 360. Plz post a reply there too.

i have to go with PS3 blu-ray just opens the doors to things that just aren't possible on 360. 360 is a close second they've got some amazing exclusives. i really don't like Wii it's good when you've got alot of people over. but as a actually gaming system i think it's horrible.

The Wii would be better if there were more good games that allowed the use of a GameCube controller. At the moment, there are mostly games that take advantage of the wii-mote's sensing capabilities while not offering classic controller options. If I'm going to get a work out, I'd rather go outside and play basketball. Additionally, the wii-mote is uncomfortable when turned horizontally. Motion sensing controls are okay, but not my idea of a good time.
On the other hand, the XBox360 sticks to classic button pushing. This is familiar territory, and gives games more substance than you could get playing with a wii-mote. The 360 also has a nice user interface, with interesting extras like a Gamer Score and Achievements to keep you interested in a game when you would otherwise put it down. Yet with all these perks, the system still has one major downside, and that's the lack of a more diverse library.
Finally, there's Sony who always seems to have the most colorful selection of all the companies. However, the Playstation 3 appears to be nothing more than a graphically enhanced Playstation 2, and is much too expensive. For half the cost of a PS3, I can get an XBox360 Pro with a hard drive, and for even less, I can buy a Wii. Before the next-gen systems came along, Sony was winning the console wars, but now they're in last place. To make matters worse, Sony has announced that they've taken out the vibration function to try to copy Nintendo's motion censor capabilities.
In the end, each console has its pros and cons, though, personally I'm starting to prefer Microsoft.

i think PS3 is having a slow start party because the PS2 is still going strong. there are lots of PS2 owners how haven't upgraded to the current gen. yet. the PS3 isn't that expensive $399.99 360 is $299.99. after 2 years effectively there equal because of the $50 a year for live on 360 which only offers a little more the the free PSN. for me PS3 and 360 are very close with PS3 just a little ahead. Wii comes across as being only for weekend gamers.
also the Wii like control sony is working on isn't replacing the current control. it will only be used by select titles. kind of like the PSeye.

Last time I checked, PS3 was still $600. At least, it is around here. I'm aware that the motion-sensing control isn't going to be used for all future games, but it still sacrifices the vibration function in all controllers, which I think is cheap. Sony should leave that industry to Wii as they've already got it under their belt, and find a different selling point to capitalize on.

i think your confused the PS3 controllers out now have sixaxis motion sensing. so it picks up shacking and tilting. they also have vibration.
but sony is also working on a new peripheral that is more like the Wii controller.
the original PS3 controllers didn't have vibration true, but they do now. i'm not sure if that's what your talking about or if your talking about the new peripheral that's still in development.
and where do you live? the prices i posted are from the best buy website.

I wasn't talking about online, but there are still a lot of internet stores selling PS3's for around $600, too. As for the controllers, I've always heard that they don't have vibration function, and the stores also describe them that way. I'm not sure how new these vibrating controllers are, but I missed that update.

i wasn't talking online either 399.99 is sonys official price in north america anyway. and the dualshock 3 controllers came out a little before GTA4 i think. your dealing with vary out dated information. that's my biggest problem with gaming forums no one actually keeps informed about what's happening in the industry.

Grand Theft Auto IV came out on April 29, 2008. That wasn't even three months ago, and I recently read some stuff written by Sony on their plans for vibration, in which they made it sound like they were going to give up the function entirely. I don't spend all my time keeping updated on what's happening in the virtual world, especially Sony's side of the deal when I don't have much interest in Playstation 3 to begin with, but I would hardly call the information "very outdated". I don't know about where you live, but if you look at an advertisement here, PS3's are still ridiculous.
