Should I buy an Xbox 360 or wait for the PS 3?

Any thoughts about which system will be 'better'? Things i am looking for:* support for HDTV* support for living room media control / integration (e.g., ability to function as a DVR, etc.)* Game selection

Xbox360 seems to be the thing if you want more games, as it has been out longer, but the ps3 is going to be a very well built and good for a media centre which you can plop into your living room and it will do alot of things, its not really just a game console anymore, they call it a media center

I think you would like to wait for the PS3 although I hear some are ineffective, and some actually brake after just a few months of use, but you will want to get the warnity for the system, although Sony covers your system for system defects for around 1 year. I just had to call Sony to get a new PS-3 the system I got from them just ended up burning out, and me spending 800$ on a system I want one that doesn't brake in a month so they are sending me a new one.

Xbox 360 and ps3 are basically the same except for a few basic components. Ps3 do indeed have better graphics. But with gears of war and all the regular xbox games, just get a xbox 360.
