Can you play Wi-fi games without Wi-Fi?

I was wondering can you play Wi-fi games without having to connect to the wi-fi network,you know like solo play. I hope you can,I don't have internet on my other computer and I need Broadband and a wireless Router to play. I have a DS though .What do you think?

Yes, the games would have solo play. They just have other options from the wi-fi.

I have the ds and I do not have any of the new games with wi-fi I didnt know this worked!

ya all you have to do is ask the wifi lady to play wifi games without wifi and she comes and flies and hugs you and you can play without wi-fi woohoo!
