People smashing their TV's ?

The news had a story about Wii controllers smashing TV screens! That
would suck if you had an expensive plasma screen. Looks like it needs
a wrist strap or something.have you any idea about this.if yes then help me out please

The controllers come with wrist straps. How someone broke thier TV is ridiculous to me. My 3 and 6 year old boys play it just fine.

That would really be bad. The crappy straps that come with the controller break so easily, you can order better ones for free from Nintendo. The first day i got my Wii, i was playing Wii sports on the last frame of bowling. I swung it so hard the strap fell off, went toward the TV, flew over it, flipped over the sensor, and went behind my TV. Close Call.

Personally I don't think it's a problem, and I don't see how you could swing the controller. I rarely even use the wrist strap.
