What do you think is the toughest sport in the world?

By tough I mean violent, dangerous..... deadly?

Please note obvious ones such as boxing, etc are not to be included.

The ones listed are only a few of what I could think of / fit on the list so please use the "Other" option and then state your choice if you don't see it on the list.

I think Rugby and Ice Hockey are right up there at the top (together) because of the obvious hits, tackles, fights, etc that happen in the games. If NHL players didn't wear padding, that game would quite easily be deadly. Albeit rugby isn't as violent but padding is not worn so bones do get broken and I am sure (as with most sports) players have been severely injured. If they didn't wear padding in Hockey, I would have chose that option.

To summarize what I just said, Rugby is my choice from the list.

I got to agree, Rugby is a violent sport, in certain ways. I used to play it at High School, and even then I saw three people get broken bones, my best friend even dislocated his shoulder, from a tackle that didn't look that violent at first. Not to mention then vast number of sprained or twisted joints we all got while playing.

MMA fighting is hands down one of the toughest. No way a normal person that is sitting at their pc right now reading this can propbably stand a chance . Most of the population wouldn't be able to compete.

UFC most probably - Pretty violent imo

i voted wrestling cause in some wrestling it aint fake and there could be accidents either when ur training with weights or when ur fighting someone

How come cross country / long distance running isn't on there?!

Well yeah I guess it could be up there, but thats more cardiovascular endurance and muscular endurance whereas the others such as UFC are that + Strength.
