Do you mean the best company? If so, I have to say Nintendo. Many companies made great games, but Nintendo is the most successful because they had the largest number of great games and systems.

I think Castlevania: Symphony of the Night on PS one would be on that list. The story and game play are just my type.

I'd have to go with the "NES". It completely paved the road for the newer systems because of it's titles, such as:"FINAL FANTASY"
"LEGEND OF ZELDA"
"DRAGON WARRIOR"
"SUPER MARIO BROS.3 etc.

Chrono Trigger was a great game for Super Nintendo, one of the best rpg games I every played. It makes me want to break out my super nintendo and play again. All in all, Chrono Trigger is definitely up there with the best Super Nintendo games.

I dearly loved my Sega Mega Drive when I was young, my faviroute games were street fighter, Ninja and sensibe soccer, the were all simple games but such a big thing back in the day. Me and my friends could play on the megadrive for hours and hours without a break, previous to the mega drive I had the master system which was also brilliant

I had them all. I played the sega the most. I used to have "sega channel" though which basically I bought from my tv provider which had about 50 sega games to play per month each month it would change and you could simply pick and choose any of them. I thought it was brilliant but it didn't last very long only about 3 months before they took it down. Bummer

I'm going to have to go with Sega, Nintendo had more games and better marketing, but as far as qualit yof games and hardware, i'd say Sega stayed more on top of things for the duration of it's time in the console business...
