I love them big. So the bigger the better.
I have a Dell 20.1 Widescreen Flat Panel monitor that I have owned for at least 3 years and I am looking to buy a bigger one.

I have a new ViewSonic I bought earlier this year that has been really great. It's actually a little smaller, a 19 inch I believe. ViewSonic has always been a great brand of monitor in my experience, however.

I second viewsonic. I've got an older one(about 2 years old) and the display is simply amazing. Dell is supposed to be good as well though.

Mine is slower, having an 8ms response time but it works just great. No tracers or halo effects.

I'll also add that when I bought my monitor, it was on display along with a bunch of other brands (about 15 monitors in all). I chose to buy this one over all the others, including some that were larger and lower priced, because it had the most vibrant colors by far. It made all the others look like they had a gray film of dullness permanently sprayed on.

I know this is dated but thought I would add some advice. IF you spring for a nice LCD get an extended warranty, the best you can afford. Any other product (well an expensive laptop too) I say, "screw it". With an LCD it is worth knowing it will be around four years down the road.

I actually put mine to use when I thought the back light went out.

If you want somthing big I would recommend the CHIMEI CMV 22" 5ms DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor. It is probably the one of the least expensive 22 inch LCDs out there. Its only 190 on newegg.

IMHO i think LG has the best deal. I got a 19'' flatscreen with 2ms response time and 3000:1 contrast ratio for 170 dollars online. Nothign can beat tha deal. If you have more money to spend i'd just go into bestbuy and look at ones you think look good. I'd suggest LG or samsung

I got a HP widescreen about 7 months back and I like it a lot. It is only a 22" but it is amazing becasue it is high gloss and the colors are amazing. They also make a 24" but that was just to big for my desk.

I have a nice 19" flat screen monitor, it's a HP Pavillion that came with my HP. I use for gaming.
