My Computer and How i can Run WoW

Ok so my friend decided to ruin my life and introduce me to World of Warcraft i really want to play but im pretty positive my computer cannot run it so i was wondering if you guys could just tell me some of the hardware i could buy and install so i can play World of Warcraft. i know that i need atleast 1g of RAM jsut to play it well and my computer only has 512mb RAM and i know im going to need a better graphics card or whaever.. but plz someone help me =(
