Default I'm looking for a good card

Right now I have a 256MB pci video card It just doesn't seem to be enough for those new games even some of the new games are not even supported by my card can anyone out there tell me where I can find a better card at a decent price I don't want to have to spend the big bucks like I do at Future Shop is there any Online Stores that are good

I think the best place to buy video cards when your on a budget is tigerdirect.com they always have really good prices and if you are patient you can find a really good cared at a decent price I have gotten many computer parts from them they are established so you don't have to worry about getting ripped off hope this helps

A good 256mb card should be more than enough for any game. I think the highest recommended card I've seen for a game is 128mb, so you should be fine. It may be possible that your card runs on shared video RAM, thus decreasing the overall performance of it.

Ya soulflame is right 256mb is good for any game at the moment anything above that is just over doing it abit.

Most cards these days are 256mb anyways.

If you want to upgrade stick with the same onboards ram but find a newer chipset , you wont beleive how better it is
