What were the specs of your first computer?

Mine:
Pentium 100 MHz
16 mb ram
1.1 gig hdd
8x CD-Rom

I forgot what the video was though. :P

What a beast that was !!

Yes quite right those days when getting 128MB people used to say "WHAT ?? Are you nutts !! PC with explode with that much !!"

lol...

Anyway My 1st system was
P-II @ 400 MHz with 512KB L2 (even now days AMD X2 comes with 512KB lol..)
Forgot the Mobo
8MB SiS 6326 or some thing like that Video AGP Card
256MB of SD RAM (intially had 128)
20GB HDD
A Floppy drive
A CD ROM 32x i guess



Wow its a some thing, I was proud to show others...

A floppy
not sure about the HD
dont think it have a video card..
ram.. 56? err.. not really sure

Hehe I don't remember the specs of my first computer lol. My dad bought it for the family. I was only maybe 9 years old so I didn't know squat about specs. I could tell you the specs of my current rig but that would be off topic I guess lol

My first computer is my current dell laptop. It works fine and it fits my needs. But i really want a mac. With the whole camera setup and everything, there just not like other computers. Does anyone know if they have good specs or what. I like the look of them and i hope to get a mac soon! Cant wait untill i do. Thanks Guys!

64 mb RAM
4 MB Video Card
Windows 98 SE
36 GB HDD
Around 500 MHz

My first computer was bought in '98 and the only things I remember about it were that it was huge and it only had 20GB of space. I also remember that it had 64 MB of Ram that back then that was ballin' it came with a 15 in crt monitor and cost $2,200

Oh wow, that was a long time ago. It had a flat blue screen and everything felt very DOS-like. There were no desktop icons, just a white list of programs, and you had to type to get anywhere. I couldn't tell you what kind it was.

I got you all beat.

PB
Intel 80386/33Mhz
4 Megs RAM
900 some odd HDD
Windows 3.0 (not 3.11 for workgroups or even 3.1 mind you)
some craptacular onboard video, i dont think it even had video memory

Well, it was somewhere in the region of about £1,000.
It was
667 MHZ
15 GB HD
64MB RAM
56K Modem
Intel Pentium 1 proccesor.
OS: Windows Millenium/ME
