The main feature of the PSP is portability. It can basically hold all types of media in your pocket. You may watch videos, view pictures, and play music, and even play homebrew. I consider the portable games just a small plus to this.

PSP's have basically similar or better graphics than the PS2

Thousands of songs you can fit in your pocket.

4. Movies

Watch full feature movies or just homemade videos wherever you go

5. Pictures

Store 1000s of pictures on a single memory stick. You can even get a camera accessory so you can take pictures yourself.

6. Wifi

Play games such as Socom wirelessly with people around the world! Even browse the internet with this small console.


7. Homebrew

Homebrew. One of the main reason people buy a PSP. You can play custom made games and applications to expand all the functions of a PSP!

Some nice good features which are just about justifiable for the amount of money spent for the unit. I hope I can have one of these someday.

Sounds interesting. I only have a PS2, but purchasing this wouldn't be a bad idea. I always get bored when I go to vacation outside of the city, and this can be a good option not to get bored anymore.

I have a PSP, and personally, I love it! I mostly use it for watching movies and playing games, but the other features are nice. I like playing this Initial D game (only available in japan).The screen is suprisingly clear and the games are pretty fun. PSPs are pretty cheap now too.. only like $200 with some extras.

If you buy a PSP, and most places you go have wi-fi. A reccomended must-buy is "Socom Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo 2" I wore out my battery 2 times in one day playing that game online .

Before reading this, I wasn't sure to buy a PSP, since my friend's one only works if he hits it, I don't know what is wrong with his PSP, but didn't work properly, maybe he's not careful enough with it. Thanks for the post!

why i choice psp,just because i like it and enjoy it very much.

the only reason i purchased psp is because it mobility, i play with it during traveling or outstation..when at home, it much better to play with my ps2.

Free online multiplayer gaming, watching movies and videos, being able to download psp games for free off the net, listening to music. What not.

Cons: wi-fi always dies in about 1-2 yrs later...lol very treu!!!
