It would be interesting if somebody could post a link if this is available online even if it is only a demo. It would be greatly appreciated.

I bought the deluxe edition of Flight Simulator X. Honestly, I didnt think it was much of an improvement over 2004. The graphics are slightly better, but you need a pretty good comp to run it at decent FPS. There are some nice new features, but nothing groundbreaking. Yes, there is a demo online, but personally, I dont think it does the game justice.

Man, I really want this game. I saw the commercial a few times and it looks pretty cool. Does it give a good feel of flying?

The graphics are a nice improvement, thought the 20GB file size for installation can make a problem for some users. I do recommend to try the demo, but keep in mind there is a time limit. I was just about to land when the game kicked me out!

I would agree that the advancements from 2004 are somewhat lacking, but then again I suppose the things they can do are limited to the genre. It would be nice to integrate passengers into the game and interaction with the cabin crew.

It must simply be recommended for anyone crazy about flight simulators but the average user might find the game a little repetitive after a while.

I haven't tried FSX yet. I used to play Flight Simulator 2004, but I haven't played it in a while. FSX does look pretty cool, but I'm not sure if it is worth it.

I owned the old Flight Simulator, it was the 2000 version I think. It was pretty good, and I remember I had to buy a Joystick in order to play it. My friend had a new version, and it looked pretty good (both graphics and gameplay). I'm not a big fan of those games though, they seem to get boring after a while. But if you're into flying planes, and want a realistic experience, then this is for you. If you're looking to shoot down other planes, look elsewhere

In this new one can you fly over virtually anywhere in the world and get good graphics of what you are flying over compared to the last one?
