If you were asking my favorite I would have to choose Action/Adventure games, I like the way the games work. I like going threw a quest and completing it for my character ultimatly saving someone at the end is always a good thing. Or completing a task that your character has been hell bent on finishing since the start of the game. You get a sence of accomplishment which is sorta funny because you are playing a video game.

I'm a hardcore racing fan.
Over the past year though, I've been into the action-adventure genre with games like MGS:SnakeEater, RE4, BULLY.
God Of War II is my current favourite now. Without doubt, It will definitely be the "Best Game Of The Year".
I also jus bought TEST DRIVE:Unlimited, + The GodFather & anxiously waiting for MANHUNT2, SBK 07' & certainly GrandTheftAuto 3.
if u like N4S, u may try TEST DRIVE:Unlimited coz' itz pretty good. Check out the reviews @ GameSpot.com.
Lately I'm also playing more FPS games rather often (eg. BLACK, Call Of Duty3, GRAW, etc).
Call Of Duty3 is a brilliant war epic adventure game which has loads of character-controlled dynamics & a hard-hitting pace.
so, anyone got anymore games y'all wanna recommend to me??
ok, gtg now... coz' i'm gonna continue with my daily dose of GOW2.
check out my personal review on GOW2 @ God of War 2 for PlayStation 2 User Reviews at VideoGameReview.com

yup... I do.
u just have to get used to it. dun worry, u will feel more in control after completing a couple of games.
well, no doubt it's indeed faster & more responsive with a mouse/keyboard. but there are pros & cons to everything.
with a game console controller, it's smaller & has got better ergonomics & its more comfortable to use.
the analog sticks are just as easy to use & indispensable when playing racing & aviation games.
finally, not forgetting a console controller vibrates too.
I'm not saying mouse/keyboard aren't better or worse... but eventually it depends on what type of games are being played.
imo, mouse/keyboard will be better peripherals for FPS, TPS & definitely better for strategy games like Warcraft & maybe some sandbox games such as GTA.
if u want a quick-fix, i think the solution is go get a mouse for your gaming console.
consoles like playstation or xbox can accept a mouse.
as for myself, i've stopped playing games on my PC for a long time. i prefer to play games using a gaming console which its sole purpose is to play games.
a LCD flat panel with good surround sound audio plus the latest gaming console, the video & audio quality would be on-par with a PC.
oh btw... i'm an avid fan of racing games.
but lately been playing lots of FPS, Action/Adventure, horror survival, etc.
God of War II was awesome. completed Call of Duty 3 twice & now i'm playing Test Drive:UnLimited.
As for The Godfather... maybe only 10% completed.

Mine is going to have to be the shooting I just can not get enough of them on any shooting. They are followed by racing and then in a distant third are the puzzle games.

In no particular order...
- Tactics RPG
- RPG
- Simulation
- Strategy
I play other genres, but those are my favorites.
