I've hardly seen any advertising in the UK and what's with the price?

Compared to the new XBox and Wii, it's just TOO overpriced.

$499 and $599, I believe. Kind of rediculous.

I think the PS3 isn't a success yet, but it will be. Definitely. Look at the PS2 for example.

Definitely a failure so far. In all the stores around where I live, they have plenty of PS3s in stock that no one will buy. Everyone wants to buy a Wii instead.

for me it's too early to make a conclusion on failure or success. PS3 is still not been distributed around the world yet.So, we still need to wait until end of this year (or maybe less)to know the success or failure of PS3.

I think it went really bad all due to such a high price and not enough games to keep people fed. They should have waited till they could have some major release titles.

Compared to the high sales of the Wii, I'd say it's a failure. I always see excess PS3's on the shelves but no Wii's, or XBox360's either.

I think it was a failure. Even the Xbox 360 sold more units than the PS3. A lot of it has to do with the high price of the box when it initially came out.

Definatley a Failure!

It was firstly down to its huge price tag! rediculous especially when children/teenagers are the biggest market! They cannot afford prices like that.

And secondly the games lineup- Very poor IMO there was nothing that made the console stand out from the rest, nothing to make a person want to buy the console because of a long waited exclusive title..
