it will add a in game XMB as well as the ability to play your music in game.

it will also be adding a trophy system kind of like XBox achievements.

also this isn't part of this up date but sony has struck a deal with youtube that will allow PS3 users to upload in-game videos captures to youtube. it's only available in japan right now but the deal is worldwide and can be integrated into existing games through updates.

That is so cool this will make xbox angry!

the update is now out it also increased the friends listen size from 50 to100 about bloody time. there's also a quick search that allow you to do key searches from the XMB.
