Not everybody can afford to have both thats why. I just sold my PS3 wish I didnt now.

iam still saving for the ps3 my mate just build me a new pc with some expensive stuff like a quad core and such so gotta a way to go yet

After selling my PS3 ive put the money towards a PC set up which my bros building me. I bro just got quad core the 2.6GHZ with 2MB cache, yet its running at 4mb cache? so they must of advertised it wrongly. Ive just gone with the duel core 2.6GHZ with 2 MB cache whats yours?

if you have a lot of games for the ps2 then no if not then yes

there is a store call eb games/gamestop
the buy and sell used games and also have used systems i go there for my psp/ps2 games there are a pretty cool store

What's cool about the playstation network is that they have old school and classic PS1 and PS2 games for download, even some demos and full games as well. For a small price ofcourse. But you may want to switch to a PS3 if you have the money. Plus you get a cheap Blu Ray disc player at the same time

i think you should keep ur ps2 because a ps3 is to much money
