great skateboarding game series...but i hear that EA games is going to challenge the franchises with a skating game...i think thats a stupid ass idea...but what ever i love this series what do other people think?

I have played every game that they have come out with to date and now after about 8 or so they are starting to get a little old to me but I am sure that I am going to keep playing them for years to come. I do not know about this pending law suite.

I've only played a little of the Tony Hawk games, and I've never bothered to own one. I was always playing snowboarding games instead, such as SSX. However, I think that the introduction of EA Skate sounds welcome enough to have me getting more interested in skateboarding games. If I had a PS3 or an XBox360, I'd get a copy of EA Skate. I haven't heard good things about the later Tony Hawk releases.
