I am a current WoW player, and I have to say that this game is so much fun its borderline addicting! I have never been a huge fan of online games but there is just so much to do in this game. Anyone else share the same feeling? Any wow support groups out there for people who can't step away from the computer?

In my book - yeah it looks cool but its really too expensive... I can't bear the thought of paying a game that costs me $ every month - (though I do pay for XBox Live...)

I got tired of WoW quick, I dont know what it was (perhaps Barrens chat lol). I guess it was probably the look of the game, I love Warcraft but it was a little cartoony for me. Plus I didnt feel like it was that unique. But I'm obviously in the minority as WoW is Wildly popular! If you find you'rself looking for more of a challenge ya might check out Final Fantasy XI, its what I'm playing now, it isnt perfect, but its pretty fun

yeah, honstly i think wow is getting overrated now, its fun at first but when u play it constantly it gets boring Fast...

I was thinking about buying it, or asking it for christmas. a lot of my friends like the game and are trying to get me to play. oh yeah and it is really addicting LOL.

Yeah, I don't get all the hype about WoW. I play it but there are way better games out there. I am not addicted at all to it.

I've been playing WoW for years myself and have 7 lvl 70 characters and, well.... I am completely burned out with the game to the point that I hate it.

I was thinking of trying the LoTR Shadows of Angmar online w/e.
Typically because it's very similar to WoW but without the cartoony graphics.

I've been a hardcore FPS gamer all of my life and still am but MMORPG's are really fun because you can really reap what you sow and the more you invest the more you have.
That being said can anyone give any feedback to another great MMO out there that I could try?
(pro's and con's.... maybe even screenshots?)

I agree, i played WoW at a friends for an hour and i wanted to go home and buy it. The game is WAY to addicting.
