a decent gaming rig can cost anywhere from 600-1000 bucks, but if you really want the oomph to run games like Crysis and World In Conflict well then you need to spend at least 1200 USD. My machine cost 1480 and while it isnt the best it could be, I do alright. Getting a decent video card is a good start, but be sure you have the power supply for it.

Can you list your computer spec and we can tell you which hardware you need to upgrade.
It could be anything from your processor's speed to the amount of RAM that you have to the graphics card you have installed.
Be more specific so we can help.

You may just need to add more memory to your computer. If you don't have a lot, it can slow down how smoothly your games run.

Yes you'll need to upgrade your computer specs. New games require high quality pc's so you're old computer just won't cut it. You should purchase a new graphics card and more memory to run games on you're computer.

hard disk is not the problem you need ti increase the pagign file and you should increasee your ram. Even now if it doesnt work, then you surely need a video card.

That's a lie. Crysis gaming could EASILY be put together for 700. running everything on high. Mine cost 600 or 500 after rebates and runs crysis on medium. And to whoever started this thread. PM me and i'll be happy to give you a quote to build you a gaming pc.

You could try quiting background programs like anti-virus scans , msn messanger , and other programs like that.

Also defrag your hard drive , unistall unwanted programs , disk clean up , Delete unwanted system recovery points etc etc

All these will slighty rise your fps but if its really unplayerble like you said its probably a upgrade for you.

( Kind of a useless post )
