If you're looking for an awesome space strategy game, Sins of a Solar Empire is it. The gameplay is great although it's a little long, graphics are good, huge battles and really addictive lol. You should definitely pick this game up if you're into strategy games.

I just picked this up the other day, I have not installed yet but am very glad to read all the positive reviews about it, including this one. Thansk for the info. I look forward to getting it installed this weekend.

hmmm i was thinking about getting this game but i have had some bad experiances with space FPS games like Freelancer , Darkstar one

But id want to know what anyone else thinks about it

yes i just got this the other day its a fantastic game ivebeen waiting for a good space stratargy game and this is it

this is nothing like darkstar or freelance its sort of like command and conquer in space with a little bit of civalization thrown in you develop planets which act as you mcv`s you buid ship yards and other orbital bases like trade posts and defensive structures your aim is to take out your opponents this can be done by makeing aliancies oor paying pirates money tohit there planets or you can just build up massive fleets and wipe them clean out of the system

theres alot of mini managment involved but its good fun
